How Do You Stop Smoking Weed After Many Years? The first thing is always to strengthen your motivation to quit smoking weed or at least cut it down.
You can do that by all the pros and cons of smoking weed once on every turn. Advantages include that you feel relaxed and it's nice. Disadvantages include that you think you're doing too little, not functioning optimally and that your condition is suffering.
At the stop or cut down are also pros and cons. The disadvantages are temporary, the benefits last your lifetime. Temporary disadvantages include: anxiety, all kinds of emotions, poor sleep. Note all benefits. Benefits include: being more active, more alert, more conditioned, no more postponement of plans and better performance in school or work.
Make a decision
Then you must decide on when you want to reduce or stop. That may be next week or two weeks. Make an official decision. Write it down in your calendar.
Seek support
Light a few people about your plan to stop and talk to people that you can call if you are struggling. Plan with them about fun things to do, those things will help you not to blow.
Prepare for cons of quitting
Prepare for the disadvantages of temporary stopping or cutting down. How do you manage unrest? How do you relax? Think about it in advance for anything. Know that all the problems you traumatize need not be resolved immediately but all in good time. Take the first problem out and turn the other some time in the refrigerator.
Prepare for migration
Also remember what to do if you get cravings. Call a friend or go running, take a shower or rent a video. Trek may just come up. It rises, reaches its highest point, and ebbs away. In the beginning you have even more pull than the weeks before. The longer you can last, the more the tension decreases.
Write a while how much and when you blow
You can do that while you keep a diary. Write in it every night on that day when you have smoked weed, with whom you and how you felt then. After one or two weeks you can look at two things:
How much did I actually smoke weed?
Is there a pattern that you discovered when you blow? A pattern that you always blow when you're bored or in certain situations only?
Note the patterns and invent alternative behaviour.
On the basis of the blow diary you can discover patterns and see which risky situations are. Consider alternatives to these patterns or risky situations. How can you otherwise deal with it than smoking cannabis?
If you stop and blow again and stop and blow again, get yourself the courage to really quit smoking weed. Find out in what situation you were smoking dope again and think about how you can respond differently from consecutive times. Do not go blowing anything else.
